Alvaro Melon65 days. A French Charentais type of melon, Alvaro packs a delectable, true cantaloupe flavor and was one of the earliest melons to mature in our trials. Averaging about 5 inches in diameter, these little delicacies ripen to an attractive yellowish tan, smooth skin with green striping. Open the rind to find a generous layer of creamsicle orange flesh. Healthy plants set about 56 fruit each.
