War Medal MiniatureThe 1939 45 War Medal was a campaign medal of the British Commonwealth, awarded for service in WW2. Awarded for service between 3rd September 1939 and 2nd September 1945. Awarded to all full time members of the armed forces wherever their service was rendered provided it was of 28 days or more duration. In the Merchant Navy the requirement was that the 28 days should have been served at sea.

The General Service Medal 1962 - 2007 is commonly known as the Campaign Service Medal 1962 as was awarded with a minimum of one campaign clasp (in the instance 'Radfan') and it is believed that a maximum of six clasp have been awarded on one medal
