Antique Khātam Trinket Box - Gorgeous Inlaid Victorian CasketThis is a beautiful antique little jewellery chest likely from the Victorian Colonial era. It is a sweet size at 2. 1 inches across and 0. 65 inches high. It is beautifully inlaid with amazingly complex mosaic and has all kinds of colours and pieces. The lid removes nicely and it has a good clean interior and is quite naive in construction with minor wear and slightly rough edges and the intricate mosaic work of lovely design and some corner pieces

It is a square finial with little seed pearls

studded with paste stones

They have a metal centre piece and the base is bone

The body is beautifully carved and unscrews nicely from near the centre to reveal a nice clean cavity for needles

It is nicely for 9ct gold and for famous maker George Frank Bickerton and for Birmingham 1864

It measures 3 inches high and stands beautifully with minor wear to the wood

This is a lovely little Victorian doll likely for a doll house

It is housed in a metal case which is nicely shaped like an old fashioned iron complete with wooden handle and even a cute little red fabric pin cushion with needles in between the metal housing

The stone is quite naively set and it is slightly shaped to the sides
