Faudel's Lace Tablet - Wonderful Victorian Tenerife Lace ToolThis is a lovely original antique lace making notion. It is a Faudel's Lace Tablet which is a Teneriffe looms. It is made of heavy cardboard with a woven tape around the edge. The label is fixed with the advertising for Faudel on one side and a partial picture of the lace in process on the other side. The two white pins mark the starting path and there are lots of black glass and other colour pins around the edge. It measures just over 2 inches across

This is a beautiful Victorian Valentine card before they became established as they are now

and also has a hole for wearing on a chain

This is a lovely old desk seal - likely from the Edwardian era and possibly French

This is a charming Victorian doll's head made of porcelain

There is a celluloid cover to each side and presently a very nice photograph of a sailor likely from the Edwardian/WW1 era

It is made of brass and is a lovely and unusual gift for the pipe smoker and from the Victorian era

possibly from firing to the top of her head which would normally be covered by hair

The rear is likely gold or gold filled with a good gilt twisted stem

It is made of wood and has a good slide lid which reveals a rounded cavity as shown

It has a very good catch and safety chain and a pretty rope edging to each side

It is in lovely antique condition and a fine little piece with lots of uses
