Cupar StationCUPAR station was opened in 1847 by the Edinburgh and Northern Railway and lies on the main line from Edinburgh to Dundee. Designed (probably) by David Bell it later became part of the North British Railway and is currently operated by Scotrail. It is a terrific example of an early large station that served the county town of Fife. The main station building now incorporates the Cupar Museum and Heritage Centre. Killin Station is on the Killin Railway branch line which ran from Loch Tay to Killin Junction where it joined the main line from Callander to Oban

The Highland Railway still survives operated by Scotrail although few of the stone build sheds survive The lines (formed by numerous amalgamations of local railways) operates from Kyle of Lochalsh on the West coast of Scotland to Thurso and Wick in the North
