In 1930, Lamy established Orthos Fullfederhalter Fabrik and within the decade, the company experienced tremendous growth. In 1952, the company released its first pen, the Lamy 27, which became a symbol of the brands high quality with its smooth flowing ink. In 1966, they unveiled the now legendary Lamy 2000,
