Description

Philodendron 'fuzzy petiole'The Ecuadorian species has a unique fuzzy petiole and velvety foliage. It is a terrestrial grower, so it's ryzome will creep along the ground surface as it produces new leaves. Care: These would be happiest in a bright filtered light and taking care to avoid direct sun. As with most aroids, water when roughly the top 2" of soil is dry. This may roughly be once a week or longer depending on your home environment. It will prefer a higher humidity

We recommend checking at least once a week to water when the top 1" or so of the soil is dry and water just enough to keep the soil moist

use an all-purpose soil medium and use care to not burry the rhizomes

The smell like death to attract their native pollinators

They can go just a few inches dry from the top of the soil between waterings

they can be treated very similarly

They can grow to have very thick foliage

In general

Ludisia discolor is a terrestrial orchid native to parts of the Eastern hemisphere commonly

Jungle cacti and more succulent-like plants can usually be long until the foliage starts to feel soft

This is a really fun and easy going Hoya carnosa cultivar

We've seen larger versions of this plant and they put out the most beautiful yellow or white blooms

These fit very similar to our original shirts
