Slat Back Chair 2021A chair I made while assisting Eric Cannizzaro teach this version of his slat back chair design at the shop of Greg Pennington in Hendersonville, TN. Red oak parts split from a log and shaved with a drawknife and spokeshaves, steam bent back posts and slats, hickory bark seat, milk paint, tung oil.

The logs are selected with specific qualities known to produce the best and strongest chair parts
