CALDERA HURRICANE 5
Description
CALDERA HURRICANE 5Inside a barn on the distillery property, we found the words October 18 1939 Storm handwritten in pencil on one of the old beams. Officially recorded in the history books as Hurricane #5, the storm was so fierce that the townsfolk had to make record of it in this barna barn so well built, it still stands today. Taste: Butterscotch, Rye spice, hints of vanilla. Creamy easy finish Nose: Caramel, Honey & Baking spices (cardamom, ginner and cloves).
Suitable for accompanying all fish dishes
Post-fermentation
and Islay regions
PALATE/BOUQUET: Concentrated Malbec and silky Cabernet Sauvignon are blended to create a delicious red wine with dark cherry and blackberry flavors
buttery flavour and is a great alternative for making gluten free cocktails
Oysters are an obvious match
on the nose there are nuances of grapefruit pith
A portion of this wine has been aged in rum barrels
It is elegant and clean with richness coming from the infusion of fine Cognac
so barrel variation is expected
Bright layers of fruity and floral flavors burst through a natural sweetness
