1990年に山梨県清里に開館し、2014年に閉館となってしまった個人美術館「清里現代美術館」が所蔵していた貴重なエフェメラをまとめた作品集。本書は、これまで一度もまとめられることがなかった清里現代美術館の資料をまとめ、アーカイブブックを出版するプロジェクトの第1巻として刊行されたもの。「Ephemera（エフェメラ）」は一時的な筆記物および印刷物という意味。本作では、瀧口修造や松澤宥、サイ・トゥオンブリー、ドナルド・ジャッド、ジョン・ケージ、マルセル・デュシャンなど、1960〜1980年代を中心とした貴重なエフェメラの数々を500ページ超のボリュームでまとめています。それぞれの表裏や見開きなどを収めた豊富な図版を通して、実際に手にとって見ているような感覚を体験できます。

2年ぶりの刊行となる11号目は、近年成長著しい「アジア」にフォーカスした特集です。経済の成長はもちろん、文化やスポーツ面においても、ここ最近アジアが存在感を見せています。SNSの普及によって、情報格差がなくなってきていることも一つの要因でしょう。
