En nog voelt het op There Is Nothing In The Dark That Isnt There In The Light alsof de 44 jarige Editors zanger zoekende is. Dat is niet erg trouwens. Het levert een rauwige randje op dat je bij zijn vaste band niet vaak zal tegenkomen. Soms horen we Springsteen, soms een trompet, soms alleen Smith en zijn gitaar. Hij vind onderweg genoeg.
