It turned out to be a fantastic decision, as both brothers have notable talent for winemaking in their own style. In 2021 Philippe passed on the majority of his vineyards to his own son, Simon, and now works just 5ha of vineyards alongside a small negociant line. Les Combes is a superb Premier Cru white
