Victorian Shadow Box or Display CabinetExcellent Victorian shadow box or display cabinet, newly released from my collection. This would be excellent for displaying something small and lightweight. I had ambitions to refit this to frame a hair work bouquet but ended up not needing it. I dont believe this piece would have had glass originally, but it may be possible to remove the box from the main frame & have glass cut for it, which local hardware stores charge just a few dollars to do.

though it has a timeworn look

the piece still displays wonderfully
