The leaves on this variety are some of the most intricately patterned that you will find

A great hybrid for those that love the look and growth habit of Nepenthes ampullaria yet want a plant that doesn’t require such hot and steamy conditions

The purple colored pitcher contrasts beautifully with the white lip while the hirsute pitcher texture gives them a felt-like feel

Its stems are streaked in a beautiful red with white variegation while the leaves are variegated in in bright white to varying degrees

It’s quite a variable species in both stature and color but generally produces very robust

These plants should closely resemble ventricosa but many will have the deep purple/chocolate color of Nepenthes rigidifolia

They may require some TLC compared to our other established plants

It’s one of our favorites due to its toothy peristomes

The “secret recipe” behind much of these genetics comes from the extremely wide peristome (Rokko Exotica x boschiana) female used in the cross
