I'm not sure what kind of wood this pen is made from but it is a burl

After turning it on a lathe I finish it with a CA finish and polish it to a high gloss

Colorverse Cape May is a blue ink with some purple shading

Sanding didn't go so well

The blue black ink is partially bulletproof
