ANDY WARHOL "NEUSCHWANSTEIN", 1987"Neuschwanstein" was one of the last works that Andy Warhol completed before his untimely death in 1987. It was during this last decade that Warhol had a resurgence in both reputation and creativity (after doing an excessive number of celebrity portraits in the 1970s). Series such as "Camouflage" and his collaboration with Jean Michel Basquiat (who would die in 1988) are paradigms from Warhol's late period. "Neuschwanstein" is also one of the only
